In the afternoon of November 3, 2019, Ahmed Mohamed Bouh- Mayor of Dire Dawa, Ethiopia led the government delegation to pay a visit of our office in Shanghai. Both parties had carried out a wide-range communication on the cooperation and development in the investment, trading and commerce of China and Indonesia under the background of “The Belt and Road” Initiative.

       The delegation watched the promotional video of TAHOTA Law Firm in English, and Hai Bao-the senior partner of Shanghai Office had conducted a supplemental introduction on the global brand development of TAHOTA. Wang Zhenhua- the executive director of Shanghai Office had made an introduction of the implementation of “Central African Legal Service Center” of Shanghai Office. By making use of the years of service experience in Ethiopia, Central African Legal Service Center is working on offering all-sided legal support service to Chinese institutions paying attention or planning to invest in Ethiopia; promoting the legal communication between China and Ethiopia; driving the Sino-Africa business landing and development together with production, study and research institutions.

       Dawit Shimeles Gebremariyam, an Ethiopian lawyer, has shared the national condition of Ethiopia, the investment, economy and trading policies and the legal profile. Ahmed Mohamed Bouh- the mayor of Dire Dawa said that, Dire Dawa was a city full of vitality and strategic meaning in Ethiopia, reaching a docking with Kunshan of China and welcoming more Chinese enterprises to invest and develop in Dire Dawa.

       On the meeting, Hai Bao-the partner of Shanghai Office, on behalf of Shanghai Office, signed the cooperation agreement with the mayor of Dire Dawa. Shanghai Office, as the legal and commercial representative of Dire Dawa in China, will make active efforts for the friendly development.
